Course Description: This course will cover the equivalent of one year of high school Arabic.
Course Objectives: By the end of the course, the student will be able to:
Recite from memory (in English) Arabic-speaking nations, their capitals, their populations, and their heads of state.
Identify Arabic speaking nations by name on a regional map.
Produce orally in Arabic greetings and responses for common social situations fluentlywith appropriate vocabulary and correct grammar.
Read aloud printed Arabic texts with fluency.
Translate simple Arabic texts into English.
Sing an Arabic worship song.
Recite John 3:16 in Arabic.
Express simple ideas orally or in writing in Arabic using appropriate vocabulary andcorrect grammar.
Translate from memory 300 Arabic words

Class Time: Thursday 11:00AM-11:55AM
Course Duration: Full Year
Required Materials(s): 3 ring binder, dividers, at home computer device connected to the internet.
Supply Fee: $20 for paper and toner.
